House of Fun secures over 500 free places at multi-activity and ibrick camps for children in Oxfordshire!

House of Fun, a leading provider of multi-activity camps in Oxfordshire, is thrilled to announce that we have secured over 500 free places at our Easter holiday camps for disadvantaged children. As part of our commitment to make our camps accessible to all, we have partnered with the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) to provide these free places to children who are in receipt of free school meals.

What is HAF?

The Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) is a government-funded initiative that offers organisations the opportunity to apply for funded places for children in need. House of Fun is proud to be an approved HAF provider and has successfully been awarded funding for our Easter camps at St Mary and St John, Rush Common, Cumnor School, and Chilton School in Oxfordshire.

What does this mean for families?

This means that families with children eligible for free school meals can book up to 4 free days at our Easter holiday camps. Not only will children get to enjoy a wide range of fun and engaging activities, but they will also receive a hot lunch and morning and afternoon snacks during their time with us. These places have been made possible through the support of the Department of Education and Oxfordshire County Council, and we are grateful for their commitment to helping children in need.

Expansion into Berkshire and beyond

In addition to our Oxfordshire camps, House of Fun is excited to announce that we have been added to the Approved Providers List for Bracknell Forest, West Berkshire, and Surrey Local Authorities. This means that we will be able to apply for HAF-funded places in these locations in the future, further expanding our reach and impact.

Our commitment to making a difference

Jake Motion, Managing Director of House of Fun, said, "Every child deserves a chance to relax and just have fun. This helps build self-esteem and confidence in children! At House of Fun, we have a social purpose, setting aside a specific number of places at every multi-activity camp to provide for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. For over ten years, we have worked with disadvantaged children via close links with schools, charities, and local authority family support teams."
